Ed has sailed in Blakeney Harbour and on the North Norfolk coast from the age of four, building up a wealth of experience of its beautiful charm and rugged nature. Sailing in all types of boats from small dinghies in Blakeney, the broads and various lakes to racing 48 foot Yachts in Sydney Harbour and on the Solent.

Charlie Ward taught Ed at his sailing school from a young age and later Ed went on to be ‘mate’ on Sailing Barge ‘JUNO’. Travelling many miles and building up great knowledge of the Harbour and the coastline that surrounds it.

Having run his own successful motorcycle dealership for many years Ed and his family decided to relocate closer to the coast and Blakeney Harbour, living in Langham, a stones throw from Morston.

Ed has continued with motorcycles but expanded to marine engineering with ‘Neil Thompson Boats’ in the winter and sailing in the summer.
